Awareness measures
Operation Lifesaver Estonia organises each year 3 nation-wide railway safety campaigns.
On April 23-29, 2012 we held annual Railway Safety Week with the slogan: “Know Your Opponent! Let the Train Pass!”
On June 7, 2012 OLE will join the ILCAD campaign. We shall install at level crossings all around Estonia OLE mascots carrying our safety message. On that day, the police will pay more attention on railway level crossings, to remind the drivers that they should follow all the applicable traffic regulations while crossing railway lines.
Operation Lifesaver Estonia communicates information about ILCAD to the TV channels.
The campaign in Estonia takes place all year around.
